East Side Worship Ministry

“Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in his mighty heavens! Praise Him for His mighty deeds; praise Him according to His excellent greatness!” Psalm 150:1-2

The Worship Ministry at ESBC exists to bring glory to God as we praise Him in song and lead our church to do the same. While the style of our worship through music varies week to week based on what message is being shared, the message of the gospel is always the same. You will find anything from traditional hymns to blended hymns to contemporary, incorporating praise team, choir, and orchestra during our morning time of worship. If you love Jesus, and you love to praise Him, we have a place for you!

Sanctuary Choir

The Sanctuary Choir is comprised of adults and youth, each bringing their spiritual gifts, abilities, heart, and passion to make our choir a unique body of lead worshippers. In music, the level of talent may vary from person to person, but the desire to share the love of God is the same for all. This group leads in worship each Sunday morning during our worship time.

If you have a passion for worship and the desire to lead the church in worship, you are invited to be a part of the Sanctuary Choir. No auditions are required. Join the Sanctuary Choir as we seek to impact lives and reach people with the Gospel through the gift of music. Rehearsal time is from 6:45pm – 8:00pm each Wednesday in the Choir Room.

Orchestra

The orchestra plays a vital part in our worship services. This ministry is comprised of adults and youth who have the experience, passion, heart, and desire to use their instrumental gifts each week to help draw people closer to our Lord. This group plays each Sunday morning accompanying our congregational worship and Sanctuary Choir, and plays specials throughout the year. Rehearsal time is from 5:30pm – 6:45pm each Wednesday in the Worship Center.

Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir practices throughout the school year as they prepare a Christmas presentation in the Fall, and aid in worship leadership through introducing new songs to the congregation in the spring. For ages 1st – 6th Grades, the Children’s choir rehearses each Wednesday night from 6:00pm – 6:45pm.
